About Us

Our Company

Since 1987, Kim's Chocolates has strived to make the world's finest Belgian chocolates, prioritizing sustainability throughout the supply chain and production process. Kim’s Chocolates’ brands include Cachet and KC Chocolatier, as well as operating an extensive private label business.

Kim’s Chocolates’ new state-of-the-art facility opened in 2008. As well as investing in the latest processing technologies, the company has created an environmentally-friendly plant where everything from electricity supply to wastewater disposal is made as ‘green’ as possible.

As one of Belgium’s biggest manufacturers and the Number 1 chocolate exporter to Canada and the United States, Kim’s Chocolates believes that its quality of products is something quite special. For over 30 years, pleased customers from around the world have been enjoying delicious chocolate delights from our wide range of unique bars, tablets and assortments.

Kim’s Chocolates runs a school project called ‘Cocoa for schools’ in Kyela, district of Mbeya region of Tanzania, East Africa. From 2010, the initiative has supplied textbooks, built classrooms and school benches. Kim's Chocolates believes that by investing in education and formation of the farmers great changes can be made in the following years.

The program has also donated beds for dormitories to provide a safe environment for young girls and minimize the risk of unwanted pregnancies. Kim’s Chocolates has also built facilities within schools to provide better hygienic conditions for children and reduce the chance of an outbreak of infectious diseases. Who would have thought that chocolate could leave an even sweeter aftertaste?

Kim's Chocolates creates products that are original, surprising and admirable – satisfying the very highest demands of the international chocolate gourmet.

Kim’s Chocolates prioritises complete customer satisfaction above all else, with employees encouraged to listen and respond. Meanwhile, all procedures and processes are designed to be client-focused and guided by ISO and TQM principles. The company also values its supplier relationships – and there is a clear end-goal to develop and maintain win-win relationships, with an emphasis on innovation and creativity.

Kim’s Chocolates firmly believes in its people, which are placed in a central position in its value system. Each staff member is treated as an individual, and there is a culture of respect for personal dignity, and the ability to freely express opinions, suggestions and criticism.

The global chocolate industry is one that impacts many millions around the world. Sadly, in some of the countries where the cocoa bean grows, poverty, underdevelopment and abuses such as child slavery are still prevalent. Kim’s Chocolates actively seeks to improve the living conditions of affected families.

Kim’s Chocolates makes every effort to manage its consumption of raw materials and protect the surrounding environment. It also assumes social responsibility for its actions by rigorously complying with all local laws and regulations.

All pralines are prepared with the finest ingredients and with the greatest respect for Belgian traditions.
